Paving stones / Quartz thick bricks / Landscape bricks / Outdoor bricks
As a natural stone, granite is non‑renewable. With the gradual depletion of mineral resources and the increasing stringency of environmental regulations, the extraction of natural granite is becoming increasingly restricted. Consequently, quartz tiles with thicknesses of 1.8 cm, 2.0 cm, and 2.5 cm—designed to mimic the appearance of granite—have emerged as the optimal substitutes for natural granite.
The quartz thick bricks and paving stones produced by Meiyi Tao are crafted from the natural grain, color, and texture of granite. While delivering the lifelike decorative appeal of natural stone, they eliminate the inherent drawbacks of natural granite. With outstanding performance in stain resistance, compressive strength, radioactivity levels, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and water absorption, these products surpass the properties of natural stone.
Granite quartz thick bricks, paving stones, landscape bricks, and outdoor bricks are widely used for exterior flooring and curtain‑wall cladding.
Superior performance
Born from stone, surpassing stone
Weight
For quartz thick bricks and natural granite of equal strength, with the same unit area, quartz thick bricks have a lower self-weight and reduced logistics costs; moreover, when used in curtain‑wall dry‑hanging systems, they help alleviate the load on the wall.
Acid- and alkali-resistant
The brick is fired at temperatures exceeding 1,100°C, and its glaze incorporates stain‑resistant, wear‑resistant, and slip‑proof technology, offering excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and corrosion.
Radioactivity
The radioactivity meets the national Class I requirements, and there are no restrictions on its application scenarios.
Water absorption rate
Utilizing a specialized manufacturing process and proprietary raw-material formulation, the brick achieves an water absorption rate of less than 0.5%, with a stable, dense structure that is stain-resistant, durable, non‑permeable, and easy to clean.
Failure strength
Quartz thick bricks of the same thickness exhibit a failure strength 3 to 5 times that of natural granite. With flexural strength, compressive strength, crack resistance, and a modulus of rupture as high as 45 MPa, they can withstand a wide range of external factors and environmental influences.
Abrasion resistance coefficient
It boasts a wear resistance rating of Level 5, a long service life, and excellent cost-effectiveness.
